The paper explores the impact of pre-treatment with two methods, full immersion and migration testing,on the detection results of acrylamide migration in paper with different content of polyacrylamide type dry strength agents and food packaging paper. The results showed that as the amount of dry strength agent increased, the migration amount of acrylamide in the paper continued to increase. For the same food packaging paper, the migration amount of acrylamide detected under the full immersion pretreatment method was higher than that detected by the single side migration method.
