Study on Kraft Chemical Pulping Properties with Armeniaca Vulgaris Wood
The Armeniaca Vulgaris wood before and after peeling was selected as raw material,and kraft pulping method was used to prepare pulp.The properties of the pulp were measured,and the feasibility of Armeniaca Vulgaris wood as raw material for pulping and papermaking was comprehensively evaluated.The experimental results show that the density of Armeniaca Vulgaris wood is higher than that of general hardwood,and its fiber length is shorter.The physical strength indexes such as breaking length,tear index and burst index of Armeniaca Vulgaris wood pulp hand-sheets before and after beating are lower than those of general hardwood chemical pulp hand-sheets,but the bulkiness is better.Through comprehensive analysis,the pulp yield of Armeniaca Vulgaris wood is low,the pulp performance is poor,but the bulkiness is better.Overall,the pulp performance is lower than the average,but it can be used as a papermaking material with high requirements for bulkiness and low requirements for mechanical properties.
