With the continuous breakthroughs in technologies such as generative algorithms and pre trained large models,artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC) technology has achieved a leap from understanding to generation,bringing opportunities for the development of digital narrative in archives.On the basis of summarizing the current situation of archival digital narrative,this article analyzes the unique advantages of AIGC technology in archival resource association,multimodal creation,immersive expression,and user interaction.Then,from the five levels of basic support,data resources,narrative creation,narrative expression,and user experience,an archival digital narrative model empowered by AIGC is constructed.The model implementation method is proposed from four aspects,archival narrative concept,archival resources,narrative evaluation,and data security,aiming to promote the development of archival digital narrative and tell archival stories well.
