In the digital era,the protection of post-mortem privacy in archives has emerged as a topic of increasing concern,driven by the rapid development of digital technologies.By employing methods such as literature review,policy analysis,and online investigation,this study examines the practices of post-mortem privacy protection in archives across the European Union,the United States,Canada,the United Kingdom,France,and Germany,and summarizes experiences.Based on these findings and China's current context,this study proposes several enlightenments such as enhancing legal frameworks,establishing access review mechanisms,clarifying time limits,and strengthening cross-regional communications,aiming to inspire greater attention to post-mortem privacy protection in the Chinese archival field.
