The integration development of secondary and higher vocational education is an important step to realize the high quality of vocational education and plays an important role in promoting the high-quality development of modem vocational education.Although the integration of secondary and higher vocational education has been carried out for many years,there are still many problems such as faults and maladjustment.This paper analyzes the reasons for the failure of the effective connection between sec-ondary and higher vocational schools from the perspectives of colleges and specialties and puts forward suggestions and counter-measures,such as optimizing the professional layout,reforming the talent training model,improving the effective course connection mechanism,perfecting the student management integration mechanism,and establishing the quality assurance system.
