Digital literacy is one of the essential abilities for advanced technical and skilled talents in the digital age.The digital lit-eracy of vocational college students will be closely related to their future life,learning,and work.This study explores the inter-disciplinary characteristics of design disciplines and its integration with digital literacy education based on the commonality of glo-bal digital literacy framework competency items and specific requirements for design talent cultivation.We attempt to establish a digital literacy cultivation target system for vocational design talents,reform the curriculum system in which the digital literacy is integrated into various stages of design talent cultivation,and suggest an eco-system for digital literacy cultivation.The reform practice of design professional courses provides practical directions for higher skilled talents to enhance their digital literacy in the professional background.
