Research on the Applications of Curved Surface Flattening Technology in the Generation of Garment Pattern
Curved surface flattening technology is a common method to generate 2D garment pattern in 3D virtual technology,which mainly includes 3D garment curved surface model construction and 3D garment pattern acquisition.This paper briefly des-cribes two common methods for constructing 3D garment curved surface model,and introduces three steps of 2D garment curved surface segmentation,curved surface flattening,dart generation and 2D pattern post-processing according to the operation process.The curved surface flattening is divided into three types:parametric curved surface flattening,geometric property flattening and physical energy flattening,and the research progress of different methods is reviewed respectively.This paper summarizes the existing problems in technology application and provides research direction for the improvement of 2D pattern generation system.
