Three-dimensional virtual technology is an important way to verify the rationality of traditional costume restoration.Be-cause of its perfect shape,color and quality,the terracotta figurine costume provides an important material for the restoration of traditional costumes.In this paper,based on the literature,firstly,the style,structure and color pattern of the terracotta figurines were modeled flat item by item.After that,the 3D virtual model was established by combining the actual wearing order of the cos-tumes.Finally,the sample was adjusted by the specific wearing of the virtual model to complete the 3D virtual simulation restoration of the terracotta figurines.The experimental results show that in the size restoration,the difference between the proportion of the figurines and the real human body and the looseness setting of the real clothing wearing level should be considered.In the process restoration,the relationship between the seam type and the seam size should be considered and in the pattern restoration process,the difference of the actual fabric should be considered.
