The design innovation based on the combination of Dongchangfu New Year wood-block paintings and people's daily clothing can not only effectively inherit the pattern characteristics of Dongchangfu New Year wood-block paintings,but also enrich the design language of modern clothing.Based on this,using the research methods of literature research,image verification and design practice,and on the premise of a detailed understanding of the subject matter and characteristics of Dongchangfu New Year wood-block paintings,the pattern of"Boy's Flower Basket"is taken as an example,and modern illustrate design tools are applied according to modem design principles.By means of decomposition,extraction and reconstruction,continuous and inde-pendent innovative pattern design was carried out to enrich the expression of Dongchangfu New Year wood-block paintings.After analyzing the characteristics of several traditional and modern crafts,different types of innovative patterns of Dongchangfu New Year wood-block paintings are combined with traditional embroidery crafts,modem digital printing and thermal transfer printing techniques,and applied to clothing,realizing the collision of tradition and modern techniques.
