This paper analyzes 1000 telecom network fraud cases that occurred in 6 universities in a city in East China from 2017 to 2021,and compares them with 1074 telecom network fraud cases that occurred in 6 universities from 2012 to 2016.From the empirical point of view,it is found that the evolution of college telecom network fraud in recent ten years has not only stable char-acteristics,but also new changes.It provides a strong factual basis for college telecom network fraud prevention.
