摘要
13世纪英国学者罗吉尔·培根《大著作》(Opus Majus)《数学》(Mathematica)部分的思想继承了希腊古典时期重视数学的传统.古希腊的学者发展了将数学应用于自然的传统,经过新柏拉图主义的发展,在中世纪伊斯兰和拉丁学者的学术研究中得以体现.培根继承了这种传统,积极地将数学方法应用于解释自然世界.培根的数学思想反映出中世纪盛期欧洲理性和知识发展的新高度,体现了时代精神寻求突破和转变的特点.
Abstract
The Thoughts of the Mathematica part in Opus Maj usof the13th century's English scholar Roger Bacon reflects that he inherited the tradition of emphasis on math of the classical period.Ancient Greek scholars developed the classical tradition of application of mathematics to the nature.Through the development of new Platonism,the tradition reflected in medieval Islamic and Latin scholarly.Bacon inherited this tradition,applied mathematical method to explain the natural world actively.Bacon's mathematical thoughts reflect the new height of the development of medieval reason and knowledge in Europe and the characteristics of the times spirit of seeking a breakthrough and transformation.
