Comparison of determination methods for potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium in natural water bodies
Inductively coupled plasma emission spectroscopy and flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry were used to determine potassium, sodium, calcium, and magnesium in natural water bodies. The correlation coefficient, detection limit, precision, accuracy, and sample determination were compared. The results showed that both methods could be used for the determination of potassium, sodium, calcium, and magnesium in natural water bodies, and the emission spectroscopy method was superior.
