Application of the "reading-based writing" mode in the teaching of writing in higher vocational college English
English reading is an extremely important source and pathway for language learners to obtain information and enhance their thinking,while English writing is an important form of language output and written communication for language users.The teaching of reading can be effectively integrated into the teaching of writing in higher vocational college English to construct and apply a"reading-based writing"teaching mode:relying on reading texts to explore writing themes;establishing teaching objectives to create writing contexts;explaining the discourse structure to build a writing framework;evaluating the quality of writings to improve the writing skills,all of which can help to enhance the development of students'English application ability.
