Research Progress on the Preparation of 1,1-Difluoroethylene by Catalytic Cracking of 1-Chloro-1,1-difluoroethane
Although the method of catalytic cracking of 1-chloro-1,1-difluoroethane(HCFC-142b)to prepare 1,1-difluoroethylene(vinylidene fluoride,VDF)has been industrialized,it has application defects due to the easy carbon deposition of the catalyst at high temperature, which leads to the inactivation of the cata-lyst,or the environmental pollution caused by the addition of accelerator during cracking. In this paper, the application of metal and salt catalysts and non-metal catalysts to HCFC-142b catalytic cracking and anti-coking performance is compared and studied, which provides a reference for the selection of HCFC-142b cracking catalyst and future research directions.
