Crystallization is one of the important separation and purification units in the chemical in-dustry.With the increasing requirements for the purity and quality stability of fine chemical products,the re-search on crystallization technology has attracted extensive attention in recent years.Continuous crystalliza-tion overcomes the disadvantages of inconsistent product quality,low production efficiency and high cost of different batches in the process of batch crystallization,and has the advantages of narrow crystal size distri-bution,stable product quality,and continuous production of specific crystal form or chiral crystals,which is the key direction of crystallization technology research in recent years.Crystallizer is one of the focuses of continuous crystallization research.This paper summarizes the research status of the Mixed Suspension Mixed Product Removal(MSMPR)crystallizer and tubular crystallizer in the continuous crystallizer,summarizes the current types and advantages of the continuous crystallizer,as well as the existing problems and solutions,and the development direction of continuous crystallizers in the future is prospected.
