Efficient Removal of Thallium Metal from Lithium Hydroxide Crystalline Mother Liquor
Using 8%iron based nano-suspension as adsorbent,Tl element can be removed efficiently,conveniently and selectively from lithium hydroxide crystalline mother liquor.The experimental results show that the Tl element can be completely removed by adding 30 mL of 8%iron based nano-suspension into 500 mL of lithium hydroxide crystalline mother liquor(Li content is 10~17 g/L)and stirring for 1 h.In addition,after the adsorption and filtration of lithium hydroxide crystalline mother liquid,the filtrate will produce a reddish-brown flocculent after standing for 24 h.The main component of the filtrate is Fe(OH)3.
