The Interpretation Process of Han and Song Studies on the Heteromorphic Writing of"Yumubing"in the Spring and Autumn Annals
The Spring and Autumn Annals is the beginning of the sayings of disasters, and the abnormal weather is an important part of the disaster.Take"Yumubing"(rain, wood and ice)for an example, the original purpose of the three traditions of Spring and Autumn Annals was to correct the rules of human affairs. However, the Han Confucianism reinforced the mysterious perception of calamities by combining the theory of the five elements of yin and yang with the theory of"celestial and human sensitivities",thus making the subjective and arbitrary interpretation of divine differences fossilizable and theoretical with the Jing's idea of changes, other arts and mathematics,so that the fixed cognition of"wood and ice omen comes true to the minister"was formed in the later generations, revealing the peculiarity of Han dynasty's sensationalistic thinking and disaster sayings"to find the cause from the results".The Song scholars not only emphasized righteousness, but also had a more reasonable understanding of the phenomenon of rain and ice, resulting in the discussions on the question of"Zheng Shuo",reflecting the positive influence of science. However, the shortcomings of Song studies in giving a far-fetched interpretation of righteousness and argumentation fragmented the heteromorphic annotation.Under the joint influence of the Han and Song schools, the interpretation of Yumubing is consistent with the principle of all things on earth without being separated from the mystical understanding of the divination.
