Comprehensive Comments on Introduction and Critical Practices of Paratext Theory in China
In the context of the post-constructionist wave in France,G é rard Genette constructed a new textual theory called"paratext".Drawing inspiration from Kristeva's intertextuality theory,this novel framework offers a multi-dimensional perspective for text analysis,integrating both internal research and external dimensions.However,the introduction of paratext theory within China has lagged behind and remains somewhat fragmented.Furthermore,the theory itself exhibits several discrepancies,which can be addressed through intertextuality.Characterized by its openness and practicality,paratext theory provides a variety of possibilities for the practice of criticism.Therefore,comprehensive introduction in China should be strengthened.
