A Study of the Three Major Salt Workers'Movements in Daishan Area During the Republican Period
During the period of the Republic of China,the convergence of political,economic,and social factors led to frequent outbreaks of salt workers'movements in Daishan,Zhejiang Province.Among these,the salt workers'movements of 1927,1936,and 1948 were particularly representative and influential among the salt workers in Zhoushan.These three movements witnessed the evolution of the salt workers'movements in Daishan under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,transitioning from spontaneous actions to conscious efforts.They highlighted the revolutionary enthusiasm of the salt workers and became an integral part of the history of the Chinese revolution,possessing immeasurable social value and historical significance.
