There are two significant problems prevailing in the current foreign language teaching in col-leges and universities:the teaching content focuses on cross-cultural theories from a single Western per-spective;the teaching practice emphasizes the understanding and appreciation of the Western culture.In view of these problems,the paper explores the integration path of Chinese sentiment and the cultivation of intercultural competence of English majors.It is advisable to re-establish the cross-cultural teaching content combining Chinese and Western culture from three dimensions of cognitive understanding,affective attitude and behavioral skills,and carry out project-based teaching practices with Chinese characteristics by relying on the fine traditional Chinese culture and combining the local characteristic culture.
