It is a major contemporary proposition to strengthen the education of college students with the history of the Communist Party,the history of New China,the history of reform and opening-up,and the history of socialist development.The education with"four histories"can help college students clarify the course of socialist construction with Chinese characteristics and understand the path of national develop-ment from different dimensions.It is advised to establish an educational system based on the popularization of historical facts,implementation through ideological and political courses,being centered around Party and League work,and new methods,to achieve the agreement between the logical connotation and practice path of the"four histories"education and the enhancement of contemporary college students'national i-dentity.
