The innovation and entrepreneurship education in the background of new engineering focuses on the training of advanced engineering and technical talents with innovative spirit and practical ability to promote the sustain-able development in the field of engineering and technology.However,currently provincial universities face such prob-lems as the unclear talent training positioning,the insufficient practice teaching,and the inadequate integration of inno-vation and entrepreneurship education and professional courses.The technological strength and innovative cultural de-velopment of new engineering talents are expected to improve through the optimization of the education mode,the im-provement of the quality of talent training,the expansion of practice teaching,the improvement of students'practical a-bilities,the strengthening of top-level planning,and the promotion of the deep integration of disciplinary systems.
