A Study on the Ethnic Policy of Zhangjiakou,the Capital of the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Border Region--From the Perspective of The Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Daily
From August,1945 to October,1946,Zhangjiakou City was the capital of the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Border Region.In response to the complex political situation and the multi-ethnic situation,the Com-munist Party of China not only carried out but also publicized and reported by means of The Shanxi-Cha-har-Hebei Daily the new democratic ethnic policy and the liberation movement of ethnic minorities in Zhangjiakou City,which greatly enhanced the political identification of ethnic minorities with the Party's ethnic policy,aroused the political enthusiasm of ethnic minorities to participate in the construction of a democratic society,and awakened the sense of a community of shared future between ethnic minorities and the Communist Party of China.
