The implementation of the ban on fireworks during the Spring Festival has achieved some re-sults in environmental protection,but it has caused a certain impact on traditional cultural customs.There are some problems in that the ban is too absolute,contradictory to traditional cultural customs,not suffi-ciently implemented,and the punishment is inhumane.It is advisable to refine relevant laws and regula-tions,strengthen law enforcement,enhance publicity and education,and promote scientific and technological innovation,so as to achieve the balance between traditional cultural customs and environmental protection and promote the ecological civilization construction.
