The correct translation of culture-loaded words in TCM is crucial to the spread and promotion of TCM culture.Based on the characteristics,the linguistic structure and the understanding of the connotation of cul-ture-loaded words in TCM,the equivalent translation strategy is adopted through cultural compensation and image transformation,enabling people of the target language to equivalently get the message with TCM cultural connota-tion and improving the translation quality of culture-loaded words in TCM.
