In the digital age,intelligent information technology provides important support for the pro-motion of ideological and political education in universities.The deep integration of digital technology and i-deological and political education has become an inevitable requirement for the innovation and development of ideological and political work in universities.However,there are such problems as the inadequate impor-tance attached to it,the imperfect system,and the insufficient funds and technological support.It is advisa-ble to establish a mechanism of digitalization+organizational leadership,digitalization+institutional con-struction,and digitalization+supporting guarantee to promote the construction of the long-term mechanism for ideological and political education in universities with digital empowerment.
