Planning and Preparation of Mongolian and Tibetan Areas in the Early of Qing Dynasty——With Tibetan Buddhism as the Clue
After the establishment of the Qing Dynasty,it gradually establishes the strategy of supporting the Gelukba sect to comfort the Mongolia and Tibet,which started in the Later Jin Period.Since Late Jin Dynasty,Nurhachi and Huangtaiji,with Tibetan Buddhism as a bond,gradually established and deepened contacts with Mongolian and Tibetan areas and strived for the support of Mongolian and Tibetan areas,which finally led to the establishment of the Qing Dynasty.By analyzing how Nurhachi and Huangtaiji used Tibetan Buddhism to build and deepen relationships with Mongolian and Tibetan areas in the Early of Qing Dynasty,we discover that Tibetan Buddhism plays a role in connecting the three parties and we further understand the attitudes of Manchuria,Mongolia and Tibet in this process.
