Comparative analysis of new barley varieties in Zhejiang Province
Comparative analysis of 11 new barley varieties was conducted in Haining,Xiuzhou,Jiaxing,Pinghu,Cixi and Wenzhou within Zhejiang Province.The growth duration of Zhepi 25,19-39 and Xiu 20-11 in Wenzhou was less than 130 d,so these varieties are suitable for local"barley-early rice-late rice"triple cropping system.The yield of Zhepi 23,Zhepi 28 and Zhepi 37 exceeded 5 500 kg·hm-2 while maintaining relatively low plant height and short growth period,so it is promising to promote these varieties in the north of Zhejiang Province.
