With the development of modern industrial technology,the contamination of food by industrial hazardous substances and other chemical substances has attracted more and more attention.Because the consumption of contaminated food will cause different degrees of harm to human health,countries pay special attention to the requirements of chemical substances in the trade of agricultural and food products.After China's accession to the World Trade Organization(WTO),the field of agricultural trade between China and Korea has further expanded,and the trade situation of agricultural and food products between the two countries has undergone new changes,and their trade disputes have also increased day by day.This study sorted out the standards and regulations related to the current heavy metal limits in agricultural and food products in China and Korea,and compared and analyzed the heavy metal detection items,types of agricultural and food products,and heavy metal limit indicators in major agricultural and food products.Suggestions were put forward on the response of China's agricultural and food products to Korea's heavy metal limit standards.
