The growth period,yield and polysaccharide content of 47 samples of Polygonatum sibiricum from different sources were analyzed.The growth period of Polygonatum sibiricum was 58-245 days,the tuber weight of Polygonatum sibiricum was 17.50-199.67 g,and the polysaccharide content ranged 7.08％-26.28％.There was a significant positive correlation between growth period and yield,polysaccharide content,but there was no significant correlation between rhizome yield and polysaccharide content.9 materials showed comprehensive high quality.This study provides a theoretical basis for the rational application,introduction and domestication of Polygonatum sibiricum resources and the breeding of excellent varieties in Sanming Area of Fujian Province.
