莫里森在《至爱》里采用魔幻现实主义叙事策略,从悬念设置、荒诞手法、意识流式蒙太奇三个方面把美国后奴隶制时代的黑人生存空间描写得荒诞古怪、人鬼难辨,抨击了奴隶制的反人类性. 她以平行蒙太奇、交叉蒙太奇和颠倒蒙太奇的方式把人物的意识流片段嵌入小说情节的发展之中,促成了时空与场景的不断变换,消解了平铺直叙的乏味感. 莫里森把超现实主义的形式和内容高度和谐地统一起来,极大地促使黑人文学艺术中美学意识的升华.
Abstract
In Beloved, Toni Morrison adopts the narrative ways of magic realism , and deals with the blacks' life in post-slavery days through the depiction of absurdity and magic haunting by means of suspense , absurd approach and stream-of-conscious montage , making a lash-out at the anti-humanity of slavery .Based on parallel montage , interceding montage and reverse montage , she integrates the characters ' streams of con-sciousness into the development of plots , leading to the constant exchange of time and space and overcoming the dullness of flat narration .Her harmonious combination of the forms and contents of surrealism is greatly conducive to the distillation of aesthetic consciousness in black literary arts .
