This paper provides a political economy interpretation of common prosperity from the perspec-tive of Chinese-style modernization.Firstly,based on a review of existing research on common prosperity,the necessity of implementing the common prosperity strategy in China is discussed and analyzed using geometric models.Secondly,integrating relevant statements from General Secretary Xi Jinping in authoritative channels and expressions in the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the paper interprets the cognition and policy planning of common prosperity.It points out that the common prosperity strategy reflects the relationship between growth and distribution,demonstrating the rationality at the economic theory level and the necessity at the political level.Finally,starting from the strategic planning of common prosperity,the paper reinterprets the relationships between various industries and the linkage between indus-tries and regions,concluding that common prosperity is a feasible path to promote a virtuous cycle in China's political economy as a whole.
