Li Dazhao,drawing on traditional Min Ben thinking and integrating Western modern democratic ideas,took the term"Min Yi"from the Book of Songs,endowed it with new connotations,and developed a unique Min Yi perspective.This perspective,characterized by its content of Min Ben and its form of represen-tation,emphasized granting certain rights to the people.With changes in the international situation,pressing social issues,and the spread and development of modern thought,Li Dazhao gradually shifted his focus to Marxism.Using historical materialism as a theoretical perspective and advocating class competition and prole-tarian revolution as the practical path,Li Dazhao emphasized the transformation of both material and spiritual aspects,advocating that people achieve their rights through revolutionary actions.This transition from Min Yi perspective to the theory of mass revolution in Li Dazhao's democratic political thought had a direct impact on the formation of Mao Zedong Thought and held significance for the integration of Marxism with excellent Chi-nese traditional culture.
