In the 20th century,African chose Marxism in the process of national liberation and independ-ence,and adhered to the socialist road,which is a manifestation of the diversity of Marxism in its develop-ment.Currently,there is a need to clarify four relationships in the study of Afro-Marxism:first,the relation-ship between Afro-Marxism and Marxism in Africa;second,the relationship between anti-colonialism and Af-ro-Marxism;third,the relationship between Afro-Marxist theory and African socialist practice;fourth,the re-lationship between Afro-Marxism and the development pedigree of Marxism.Clarifying these four relationships is very beneficial for us to understand and study Afro-Marxism.
