摘要

教育援助是英国对外援助的重要组成部分.2012 年,为实现英国政府的利益诉求并解决女童教育一期和二期项目的遗留问题,英国政府启动了女童教育三期项目,通过增加尼日利亚女童入学机会、提高教师教学能力和学校治理能力等方面的努力,在促进性别平等、提高学校教育质量以及提升学校管理水平上取得了良好的进展.在实践中,女童教育三期项目生成了以下可供参考借鉴的援助经验:一是与多边援助机构合作以借鉴女童教育援助经验;二是立足于受援国实际以提高援助有效性;三是与其他教育援助项目合作以保障援助可持续性.

Abstract

Educational assistance is an important part of the UK's bilateral relationship with Nigeria.In 2012,to address the UK government's interests and tackle the leftover issues from the first and second phases of the Girls'Education Project,the UK government launched the third phase.The Girls'Education Project Phase 3 has made good progress in promoting gender equality,improving the quality of education,and enhan-cing school management by increasing enrollment opportunities for Nigerian girls,boosting teachers'teaching skills,and strengthening school governance.In practice,the Girls'Education Project Phase 3 has generated some valuable lessons for future aid efforts:first,collaborating with multilateral aid agencies to learn from their experience in girls'education;second,focusing on the actual needs of the recipient country to improve aid ef-fectiveness;and third,working with other educational aid projects to ensure the sustainability of the assis-tance.
