Constructing Trust in Human-Machine Interaction Based on Active Inference
In recent years, the issue of trust in human-machine interaction has been increasingly paid more and more attention by the academic community, and different scholars have tried to consider and construct the trust mechanism of human-machine interaction in a multi-faceted way based on their own theoretical purport. With the rise of predictive processing theory, the related inquiry theories are even more supported by theoretical presuppositions and methodological support from the perspective of com-putational neuroscience.Under this perspective, active inference,as one of its basic theoretical building blocks, provides an integrated cognitive architecture for exploring trust mechanisms in human-machine interaction. Thus, based on the applicability analysis of extending interpersonal interaction to the hetero-geneous system jointly constituted by human-machine and the interpretation of human-machine interac-tion trust patterns and characteristics with the logical framework of active inference,it is undoubtedly of great significance for constructing a new practical path of human-machine interaction trust.
