If we take"civilization form"as the paradigm for writing world history,the process of world history is manifested as the process of the"special civilization form"of each nation being discard-ed as the"universal civilization form".On the one hand,the way of existence of the human species is different from the"state of nature"of other species,and it is always necessary to get rid of the state of nature and enter the"state of civilization",that is to say,to exist in the form of a"special civilization";On the other hand,human beings can only ensure the permanent survival of the species by means of the"universal form of civilization".According to the materialist concept of history,since the class society,human civilization has been defined by social forms.However,the previous civilization forms of capi-talism were all"special civilization forms",while only communism is a"universal civilization form".For those peoples who are able to grasp the development trend and objective laws of world history,their civilization will be able to abandon its particularities,thus laying the foundation for the creation of the"universal civilization"of mankind.The fundamental nature of the modern civilization of the Chinese nation inherits Marx's view of civilization,opens up the picture of"universal civilization",and con-tributes Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to the creation of"universal civilization".
