On the Cultural Narrative of Chinese Modernization
Cultural narrative is an important way to present and spread the history of modernization.Building a discourse system and narrative system for Chinese modernization is an inherent requirement for breaking the narrative hegemony of Western modernization and promoting the development of Chi-nese modernization.As a great innovative practice in the history of human development,Chinese mod-ernization has rich cultural content in historical exploration,subject creation,all-round development of people,and civilization practice.The cultural narrative of Chinese modernization needs to adhere to the principles of dialectical unity between"grand narrative"and"micro-description",the unity of"play-wright"and"dramatist",and the unity of"spiritual material"and"material materiel",to present the Chinese spirit and modern China.This is not only a realistic need for narrative innovation in moderniza-tion,but also an inevitable requirement for further enhancing the influence of the spread of Chinese civi-lization.
