Construction of the Horizon of"Science of Literature"and the Exploration of the Approaches to Literary Research
Literary research as a knowledge product in Humanities is characterized by the scientifi-cation,disciplinarization and professionalization.Critics from diverse countries unanimously treat liter-ary research as a discipline with relentless effort and enthusiastically cultivate the disciplinary awareness of community of literary research in order to push forward the process for the uplift of the level of scien-tification and disciplinarization.Through the reexamination of the objects of literary research and the fundamental formulation of the mission of Roman Jakobson,Roman Ingarden,Yuri Lotman,Emil Staiger and Wolfgang Kayser,the common interest of these literary theorists lies in constructing"the science of literature".The construction of the horizon of"the science of literature"is guiding the explo-ration of such specific approaches to literary research as linguistic poetics,phenomenological aesthet-ics,and structural semiotics.It's the exploration of different approaches within the horizon of"science of literature"that has driven the progress of literary research over the past centuries.
