In the new round of seawall construction,the goal is to build safe,reliable,green ecological,comprehensively functional and effective seawall.Many seawalls,according to the improved standards,have combined functions such as transportation and greenways,putting forward new requirements for embankment design.Taking the South and North Pond embankments combined with seawalls in Xihu District as an example,the main design points of the embankment combined with seawall sections will be briefly illustrated from two perspectives of the structural combination and design standard.
