Data Analysis and Application of Ultrasonic Rain Gauge
The ultrasonic rain gauge measures the change in liquid level through a water-based ultrasonic transducer to measure rainfall. The rain gauge is composed of an inlet area,a buffer area,a measurement area, and a drainage area, achieving automatic measurement and outputting rainfall data. This rain gauge can solve the problem of large measurement errors in traditional rain gauges under heavy rain, with a rainfall resolution of 0.1 mm.The experiment shows that the accuracy error under rain intensity of 1 to 8 mm/min is≤1%,meeting the accuracy standard of I;the error repetition rate is≤1%,and the instrument performance is stable.Due to its relatively high cost-effectiveness,it can be widely promoted and applied after completing field experiments in the later stage.
