Application of High Density Electrical Resistivity Method in Exploration of a Contaminated Industrial Site of Hangzhou
An industrial land which used to be engaged in chemical processing and production near the Qiantang River in Hangzhou suffered from serious surface soil pollution. After soil remediation, the concentration of chloride in groundwater still seriously exceeded the standard. In order to find out the spatial distribution of contaminants in the site, high density resistivity method was used to survey the industrial land. The results can provide a scientific basis for further soil remediation.
