Numerical Simulation of Oil Spills in the Coastal Waters of Cangnan,Zhejiang Province and Its Impact on Nearby Ecologically Sensitive Areas
The hydrodynamic model of Cangnan offshore wind farm in Zhejiang Province is established by using MIKE21 HD module. The model is verified by the measured tidal level and tidal current data, and the results show that the model can simulate the hydrodynamic characteristics of the project's water area well.On this basis, according to the Euler Lagrange"oil particle"theory, the MIKE21 SA module is used to establish the oil spill drift diffusion model in the project water area, simulate the drift path and sweeping area of the oil film under different working conditions, and analyze the impact of the oil spill accident on the surrounding ecological sensitive areas. The results show that the oil film drifts to the open sea under the condition of dominant wind direction SW in summer, and has no impact on the surrounding ecological sensitive areas;under the condition of the prevailing wind direction NNE in winter, the oil film will have an impact on the marine protection area of Qixing Island in the south of the project's water area;under the prevailing wind direction S,the oil film will have an impact on the marine protection area of Nanji Islands in the north of the project's water area;and under unfavorable wind direction E conditions, oil film has an impact on the spawning grounds of coastal fisheries in Cangnan.Engineering construction should develop emergency response plans for oil spill accidents to prevent adverse impacts on surrounding ecologically sensitive areas.
