The bulb turbine generator unit of Xiaoxitan Hydropower Station experienced a tile burning accident.In order to eliminate the tile burning fault,the root cause of the accident is studied.Research has found that due to CPU crashes in PLC control mode,control commands cannot be updated,the main oil pump stopped running,the backup oil pump failed to start automatically,and finally the running unit burned out due to a lack of lubricating oil.In order to eliminate tile burning accidents,an optimization plan for the oil pump control of the lubricating oil system is designed,including adding a backup control system for the oil pump,improving the PLC operating environment,and adding an oil level controller.The results showed that the solution solved the tile burning defect caused by CPU crash,achieving good results with low investment and stable control.The PLC control mode of similar bulb turbine generator sets is the same,and the optimization plan completely eliminates the major accident hazards,providing guarantee for the safe and efficient operation of hydropower stations,and has certain promotion value.
