Study on the Influence of Different Compaction Work on Mechanical Properties of Solidified Sediment and Its Microscopic Mechanism
In this paper, the Lian-san-Lian-si Lake sediment in Jiaxing City,Zhejiang Province are selected as the research object. The cement and fly ash are the main curing agents for curing the sediment.Through the unconfined compressive strength test, the effect of different compaction work on the mechanical properties of solidified bottom mud after adding 8%curing agent to soil sample with optimal moisture content of 34%was studied.SEM(scanning electron microscope)experiment was used to explain the obtained rule and analyze its microscopic mechanism of action. The research results show that:If the optimal moisture content and the optimal proportion of curing agent are added to the solidified soil, the strength and dry density of the solidified soil increase with the increase of the compaction work when the compaction work is small, but the strength and dry density of the solidified soil will decrease when the compaction work is large,so there is an optimal value of the compaction work.
