Research and Application of Intelligent Wheeled Inspection Robot for Digital Twin Pumping Stations:Case of the Babao Pumping Station Project in Hangzhou City
Digital twin pump stations are an essential component of the national water network,significantly contributing to improving regional flood control,drainage capacity,and water resource allocation.However,large-scale pump stations face challenges due to the wide variety and quantity of equipment,multiple inspection areas,heavy tasks,and safety hazards during manual inspections.These issues result in poor quality,lack of continuity,and low efficiency in manual inspections,jeopardizing the safe and stable operation of large-scale pump stations.To ensure the safe,standardized,and efficient operation of these pump station projects,intelligent wheeled inspection robots are introduced to compensate for the shortcomings of manual inspections.An application management platform is established to facilitate one-stop management of robot inspection tasks,including task assignment,visual recognition,data collection,and statistics.This paper explores the system architecture design,key functions,and specific applications of intelligent wheeled inspection robots and their management platforms in large-scale pump stations,using the Hangzhou Babao Drainage Pump Station Project as an example.Through engineering practice,it has been proven that the introduction of intelligent wheeled inspection robots significantly enhances the level of informatization in digital twin pump stations,reduces maintenance personnel by 40%,ensures the safety of maintenance personnel,and greatly improves the efficiency and stability of inspection task execution.
