In the study of Qiantang River seawall,the research on its engineering technology is rather in-depth,but that on its intangible cultural heritage is relatively rare.As for seawall culture publicity,the work is neither large-scale nor systematic.Due to the lack of academic research support,the cultural publicity is also lack of depth.Leaning from the successful cases of world cultural heritage as the West Lake,and the detailed analysis on current research and cultural publicity status of the Qiantang River seawall cultural heritage,it holds that the research on seawall cultural heritage can promote its declaration for world heritage,in turn,the declara-tion can promote the protection of cultural heritage.It is suggested to strengthen in-depth excavation and re-search of the intangible cultural heritage of the Qiantang River seawall,to disseminate in further scale,in sys-tematic and profound way,so as to protect and inherit the cultural heritage of the Qiantang River seawall by increasing the publicity channels as"Seawall Culture"and building the cultural corridor of the Qiantang River seawall.
