Disturbance Monitoring Analysis of Shield Tunneling Through Existing Tunnels in Complex Geological Conditions
In response to the significant disturbance to existing tunnels caused by shield tunneling construction in complex geological conditions, based on the construction of a new subway line shield tunneling project that spans over and under existing subway sections,an automated monitoring system is constructed by using measuring robots to monitor and analyse the existing tunnels. The results indicate that the shield tunneling construction in soft soil strata will cause disturbance to the existing tunnel structure, and the shield tunneling under the tunnel will cause more significant disturbance to the existing subway section tunnel than the shield tunneling over the tunnel. The impact of shield tunneling construction on the tunnel in the up and down regions is relatively consistent, showing a gradual contraction trend from the crossing section to both sides. The maximum uplift of the roadbed settlement during the up crossing process is 5.1 mm,the maximum uplift change of the roadbed settlement during the down crossing process is 10.8 mm,and the maximum variation of the roadbed settlement during the down crossing stage after the down crossing construction is-23.7 mm.Shield tunneling construction should pay more attention to the uplift phenomenon of the existing tunnel roadbed, and continuous attention should be paid to post construction settlement during shield tunneling, and grouting treatment should be carried out if necessary.
