Quantitative Analysis of Effects of Irrigation Mode on Rice Yield and Greenhouse Gas Emission
Irrigation mode has an important impact on rice yield and greenhouse gas emissions.Quantitative analy-sis of the effects of different irrigation modes on rice yield and greenhouse gas emissions is the theoretical basis for formulating more reasonable irrigation strategies for rice fields.Based on the definition of irrigation equivalent required per unit depth of flooded layer and under flooded layer of paddy field, and considering the correction of available water amount in rainfall zone, the correlation of available water amount with rice yield and CH4 emis-sion under the different growth and cutoff of rice under the four irrigation modes of long flooding,peasant,aero-bic and rain-fed was studied. On the basis of the above correlation analysis, the experiment was carried out by gradually reducing the water level in rice field during the draining and filling periods,so as to find out the best ir-rigation strategy to control the water level in rice field.
