Application of Carbon Fiber Cloth in Reinforcement of Prefabricated Aqueduct
After more than 40 years of operation,there are serious problems with the aqueduct of Dishan Power Station,such as concrete carbonization,damage,corrosion and aging of steel bars,deformation and leakage.On the premise of retaining the main structure of the aqueduct,carbon fiber cloth is used to reinforce the prefabrica-ted beam and slab structure in response to the problems existing in each component of the aqueduct.After 2 years of operation and observation after repair,the related diseases were treated and the leakage phenomenon was eradicated.Carbon fiber cloth was successfully applied in the project,which can provide reference for similar en-gineering reinforcement.
